paris, france: louvre and eiffel tower

Even though we had to cancel our trip to Paris last weekend due to passport issues, we at least had a night there in February. We had to travel to Florida at the end of the month for B's meetings (I sat on the beach!) so we scheduled a long layover there from Orlando.


Since our hotel was in the same vicinity as both the Louvre Museum and the Eiffel Tower, we decided that visiting both would be our goal for the cold day. We could have probably accomplished more, but we were extremely jet-lagged. We didn't sleep much on our Air France flight because of the extreme turbulence. So extreme that I woke up a few times in the middle of the night and almost screamed, and then felt like I was going to have a heart attack. Anyway -
